Neds Mobile App and Mobile Site

How to Download the Neds App

The opening section of my Neds mobile app review is dedicated to the download process, which means that I will quickly explain how to download the app for both iOS and Android mobile devices.

How to Download the Neds iOS App

  • Go to the App Store and search for the Neds mobile app, or find the download link on the Neds website
  • When you find it, download and install the app
  • Login using your existing username and password or set up a new account

How to Download the Neds Android App

Unlike App Store, Google Play Store doesn’t allow gambling and sports betting app, so you won’t be able to download the Neds app there. Instead, visit the Neds website on your mobile browser to download the app.

  • When you go to the Neds website, on the bottom right of the homepage you will find the “Download for Android” button
  • Before you start the download, make sure that you have allowed apps from unknown sources to be installed on your mobile device
  • Download and install the app
  • Login or open a new account

How to Open an Account at Neds

To open a new account on Neds, you can either visit the website or download the app first since it is possible to open a new account directly on the app.

Whatever you choose to do, you will see the white “Join Now” button on the homepage/app. Click on the button to start the registration process. The entire process will only take a few minutes and requires some basic information, choosing the username and password, etc. Remember to use the special sign-up code.

How to Fund Your Account at Neds

You can simply and securely fund your Neds account by going to your account and finding the deposit section. Neds allows you to use a few payment methods to fund your account, like credit and debit cards, bank transfer, Bpay, POLi and PayPal.

While some of these methods are instant, like PayPal and credit/debit cards, other may take up to 3 days before you see funds in your account, like Bpay or bank transfer. Having only one e-wallet is certainly disappointing but at least that option is PayPal, one of the most popular online wallets.

Play on Neds App

The next part of my Neds mobile app review is dedicated to the sports and markets you can find on the app. Also, no other products, such as casino games or poker, are available on the app but that’s common for bookies in Australia since the laws prohibit them.

Sports Betting on Neds Mobile App

This operator has a very strong selection of sports you can bet on. In fact, there are around 30 sports available for betting on the Neds app, including the most popular sports in Australia like Aussie Rules football, soccer, rugby, tennis, basketball, horse racing, etc.

In addition to this, you can also find unique offers for betting on e-sports, politics, entertainment and other current events. For example, you can even bet on NBA or NFL drafts – a unique offer that shows how extensive the Neds app really is. I particualrly like betting on award shows like Oscar, which is something that you can only find with a few selected bookies.

When it comes to the number of markets, Neds doesn’t disappoint here either. The number varies from sport to sport, of course, depending on the sport’s popularity. The most popular sports, like soccer, have over 100 different markets you can bet on, including final score, double chance, half-time/full-time, total goals, Asian handicap, both teams to score, etc.

How to Place a Bet on the Neds App

You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to place a bet on the Neds app – this is actually a very simple and quick process. When you open the app, find the sport that you want to bet on, then choose the game and market you wish include in your bet.

Once you do this, click on the odds and you will see your selection appear on the betslip. Then you can add more games if you want to make a multi bet, or place the single bet. Before you confirm the bet, choose the amount you want to bet first, or type it in your betslip.

Best Neds Mobile App Features

  • Great Choice of Sports and Markets – The Neds app provides a strong selection of different sports and markets for its users.
  • Pleasant User Experience – I like the layout of the app and the fact that you can easily navigate between sections to find the sport you want to bet on.
  • Live Streaming – Neds offers a great selection of live streams for various sports, including many horse racing events.
  • Same Game Multi – This feature allows you to create a multi bet by betting on various markets available on the same game.

Neds App – Other Assets

Netbet Mobile App Review

To make my Neds mobile app review complete, I will now focus on other important features and assets that this app provides to its users.

User Experience

The Neds app follows the example of more experienced bookies with great reputation to provide a familiar and user-friendly design. The app is intuitive, easy to navigate and allows you to place a bet in a matter of seconds.

All the elements found on the app are presented in a logical way, with separate sections for horse racing and other sports. That’s why it is not surprising that the app is strongly focused on the upcoming races, which are clearly displayed on the top of the screen.

Despite this obstacle of no in-play betting on the app, Neds provides an extensive betting selection. They cover all the sports that are available for pre-game betting, although the number of markets is, understandably, smaller.

Live Streaming on Neds Mobile App

While Neds is strongly focused on horse racing, there is much more to see on their app when it comes to their live streaming service. They offer various sports in addition to races, including soccer, basketball, tennis, etc.

The live streaming service on the app is free but you need to make at least one deposit before you can access the streams. All in all, Neds provides one of the best live streaming experiences of all Australian bookies, perhaps only matched by Bet365 – which is a high praise indeed.

Neds App Review – A Satisfying Experience

Neds is one of the selected few bookies that can match the larger, international operators when it comes to the overall functionality and appearance of their app. With many positive things on their side, the app is truly one of the best on the Australian market, despite some obvious shortcomings like the limited selection of payment methods.

Some of the positive aspects of the Neds app include the simple and easy navigation, great selection of sports and markets, solid number of different live streaming options and the ability to take advantage of all the features that are available on the website, like contacting customer support or making deposits and withdrawals.

All in all, the Neds app is one of my favorite choices and I would recommend it for Australian bettors looking to support a domestic bookie.
